Brothers and Friends,

Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 13, we will be having a second degree. All Fellowcraft and Master Masons are welcome to attend. Please let us have a good showing for the candidate who deserves our support. The degree starts at 7:00.

In two weeks we will be having again our monthly round-table discussions. The paper for this month is the first chapter proper of “Brothers and Builders” by Brother Joseph Fort Newton. We had a very lively discussion last month and had a great turn-out. Please come and support this event. It is a great time to learn and to share in fellowship.

Save the date for September 21 in the morning. We will be having our annual “Welcome Back” breakfast and we are looking forward to a great turn out. This is a fund raiser and a Masonic Families event. Please bring your family and your friends to join us.

On a more serious note, it is to be stressed by all of the officers that if you use equipment in the lodge, particularly the coffee maker, that it be cleaned up properly. Twice now officers have found old and use iced tea bags in the coffee maker, one left so long unattended that it was moldy and the entire coffee maker had to be bleached. All of the groups that operate within our building are being notified about this. Please be sure to clean the coffee maker, or any other equipment in the lodge after use. Otherwise the lodge will be unable to keep these things usable for future events.
