Now that the holidays are over, just wanted to give quick update on some things coming up at Wayfarers over the next month or so.
Friday, January 3rd The Christmas Tree At Phoenix Children’s Hospital was un-decorated. We received many compliments on our tree at PCH!
Saturday, January 4th We started off the New Year with Wayfarers 50 First Annual New Years French Toast Breakfast! This was a success with a good showing and fellowship.
Tuesday, January 7th Second Degree Practice was completed with many officers and Masons attending
Wednesday, January 8th Three Brothers traveled to Epes Randolph Lodge No. 32 in Tucson, AZ in a Dodge Challenger. Our travel schedule is listed on the Lodge Calendar.
Tuesday, January 14th Dinner & Stated Meeting. A fantastic dinner was provided by our Jr. Warden, Bro. Chris Britt. We had a productive Stated Meeting with many subjects discussed. Bro. Andrew Olge passed his proficiency and is scheduled to advance to the Degree of Fellow Craft. Our Masonic Education was read by JW Bro. Chris Britt.
Sunday, January 12th El Quixote No. 83 F&AM – Installation of Officers was completed.
Thursday, January 16th Sunnyslope #47 OES Meeting
Saturday January 18th 9:00 – 12:00 PM Fellow Craft Degree – Phoenicia Lodge #58 16027 N. 25th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85032. All FC and MM are invited to attend the Second Degree at Phoenicia Lodge No. 58. Those who are sitting in and assisting, be early to review!
Tuesday, January 21st 7:00 – 9:00 PM Wayfarers Lodge No. 50 – Fellow Craft Degree. Our candidate is very excited to move through his Second Degree! He has embraced his Masonic journey, so let us make this a memorable experience for him! We will have many visitors this evening for the degree. Come one, come all FC and MM to bring our Brother forward!

Monday, January 27th 7:00 – 10:00 PM Private Event at the Lodge.
Tuesday, January 28th 7:00 – 9:00 PM – Masonic Movie Night Illiminated. Bring your friends and family to our Masonic Movie Night! All are welcome for a viewing of Johnny Royals newest movie Illuminated!
Tuesday, February 4th 7:00 – 9:00 PM – Long Range Planning Meeting on February 4. All officers should attend, but all members are welcome. We will begin to plan three major fundraising events for the year.
Thursday, February 6th 6:30 – 9:30 PM Traveling to Pinal Lodge No. 30 located at 1140 E Florence Blvd. Casa Grande, AZ 85122. Any Mason from Wayfarers No. 50 who would like to travel with us, we are going to attend the dinner and the stated meeting. We will communicate for carpooling if anyone would like to attend.
Tuesday, February 11th 6:00 – 9:00 PM February Dinner & Stated Meeting. As always, dinner at 6:00 PM, provided by Valley of the Sun Order of Demolay. All are invited for food and fellowship. Gavel drops at 7:00 PM for our Stated Meeting. Remember, sign in and have your apron available!
The merger with Hiram Daylight continues. There will be a joint Dinner & Stated Meeting starting in March, 2020.
