Just a quick note to let everyone know what’s happening over the next few weeks.
First off, the Hiram Daylight merger final vote is coming. All votes must be tallied by the November stated meeting. If you have not yet voted, please do so. It is imperative that we hear from everyone.
Tuesday, October 15th, was the successful First Degree for Brother Andrew Ogle. Our Brother is very excited for his Masonic journey. Make him feel welcomed to the fraternity!
Saturday, October 19th 8:00 AM – LODGE WORK DAY: Moving the red chairs to the street for Bulk Trash Day! We need as many Brothers to move the red chairs and secure the other Blue Chairs. The red chairs can be donated to anyone, just pick them up! Additional work around the Lodge will be done as well, complete the painting, cleaning, etc.
Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Phoenicia Lodge #58′s Masonic education on Mormonism and Masonry presentation by Dr. Ted Cross. The Lodge will open at 6:00 PM for this event. Phoenicia Lodge #58, F. & A. M. of AZ is located at: 16027 N 25th Street Phoenix, Arizona 85032. Many members have expressed interest in attending this event!
Saturday, October 26th 10:00 AM Logia Masonica El Quixote #83 Dia de los Meurtos Degree ceremony. There will be a Third Degree Ceremony with the accompanying, Die de los Meurtos Ceremony. Sunday, October 27th 10:00 AM Logia Masonica El Quixote #83 Dia de los Meurtos Cultural Event РOpen to the Public. (Day of the Dead) Acompa̱anos este 27 de Octubre a las 4:30 PM a nuestro evento anual de dia de muertos. / Come and join us this 27th of october to our annual Dia de los muertos cultural event. Tuesday, October 29th 6:00 PM Rough Ashlar Night: All are invited and welcome to join us for great food and Masonic Fellowship at Ramen Hood in Scottsdale, Arizona. The address is: 15807 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd., #105 Scottsdale, Arizona 85620. It is a great opportunity for non-masons to see who we are and what we’re all about.
Just a quick fact about ramen: Served HOT, so slurping will actually cool the noodles! It also considered respectful to slurp noodles as it show that you are enjoying the meal!
Saturday, November 2nd 8:00 AM – LODGE WORK DAY: Blue Chair Installation: The new blue chairs will be installed in the Lodge Room. There is much work to be done, we need all Masons to assist and be part of the continued beautification of Wayfarers Lodge No. 50! Members with tools and carpentry skills are needed. Additionally, lend your hand to keep our Lodge clean and appealing every day we are in lodge. This makes for an enjoyable experience!
Tuesday, November 5th 7:00 PM – Long Range Planning meeting. We’ll be discussing a couple of upcoming fundraisers, Lodge updates, as well as putting together a degree team for an upcoming 3rd Degree.
Tuesday, November 12th 6:00 PM. Dinner and Stated Meeting. Dinner starts at 6:00 PM and will be provided by the young ladies of Job’s Daughters Bethel 19. Stated Meeting, 7:00 PM, we will have final vote on the merger and elections for the Masonic officers next year. Come let your voices be heard.
