Brothers and Friends,

Please forgive another e-mail this week… There will be a few more given the circumstances.

WM George has asked me to make public what has been going on. George has been stricken with a heart attack. Tomorrow at 11:30 in the morning he will be undergoing a quadruple bypass open heart surgery. He has asked that there be no visitors or contact until he is out of the ICU. After surgery he will spend 2 days at least in the ICU, and then at least 5 days in recovery, and then will be home. A blast e-mail such as this will keep all informed as to the state of his health as well as when he can expect to have visitors.

Please keep George and Sandy (his wife) and family in your highest prayers for a speedy and incident free recovery. And if I may be the first I would like to offer one from my own tradition:

May the One who was a source of blessing for our ancestors, bring blessings of healing upon W:.M:. George Daggett, a healing of body and a healing of spirit. May those in whose care they are entrusted be gifted with wisdom and skill, and those who surround them be gifted with love and trust, openness and support in their care. And may they be healed along with all those who are in need. Blessed are You, Source of healing.
