From the Worshipful Master
Let me start by thanking you for the great honor of being elected Master of the Lodge.
The Square is the symbol of the Master of the Lodge, It can be synonymous with trust. When we keep something “on the square,†we are beholden to keep our brother’s secret as our own. We are reminded to square our actions by the square of virtue. When we do this, we measure our actions of some other guiding force. This could be a moral or ethical code, religious precepts, or high-standing cultural norms. May we all work together to make this year a success.

From the Senior Warden
First, I would like to thank everyone for the opportunity and trust placed in me to serve as Senior Warden for Wayfarers Lodge this year.
On my apron and around my neck, I find the emblem of the Level. While operative masons utilized this implement to prove horizontals, to me, it symbolizes that we are all equals. No matter what your occupation is, your net-worth, your race or creed, all Masons have the same voice. There is no one who is more Masonic than anyone else. At the close of each lodge, we are all on the same level. This equality is not something we see outside of lodge, unfortunately, but by treating all people with the same respect outside of lodge as we do in, someday the rest of society will join us.
I plan on working closely with our Worshipful Master this year in all he hopes to accomplish and look forward to serving Wayfarers this year as we work on building a more productive future for our Lodge.

From the Junior Warden
First, let me thank everyone for your confidence in selecting me as your Jr. Warden. The Jr. Warden jewel is the plumb, and this is a very important tool for all Mason’s to know and practice. This jewel is the one that represents Hiram Abiff, the most upright man in all of Masonry. Hiram stood up upright through his several stations and never bent or crack under pressure, keeping his integrity in tack. As your Jr. Warden I will endeavor to emulate this great Mason, so that my conduct never reflects poorly upon the craft. I will use this tool in conjunction with the level and the square, as together these tools give passage to greater knowledge, they provide access to the inner chambers of light and wisdom. I do not take lightly the position which I have been elected, and hope to be a good example for all brothers that follow up the line. I am looking forward to a good year, and helping to raise all good men and true.
