From the Worshipful Master
Greetings Brethren,
It’s with a heavy heart that I begin this post. Early this morning, W:.B:. Forrest Page let drop the working tools of life and passed upward and inward to the celestial Lodge above.

Brother Woody was raised a Master Mason June 8th, 1959. He was Worshipful Master of Wayfarers Lodge #50 from December, 1996 to December, 1997.
I didn’t know Woody as well as most of the brothers at Wayfarers. In fact, I didn’t know him as well as I would have liked. I knew him well enough to feel a profound sense of loss in his passing. While I’m saddened by the absence of his gentle and generous spirit, his infectious smile and his radiant love of life, I look for comfort in the knowledge that he no longer suffers and he’s among friends. I have no doubt it is his portion now, to hear those welcome words; “well done good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.â€
Please brothers, join me in prayer for his family’s comfort and peace of mind in their hour of need.

From the Senior Warden
Brothers,
Now the lodge is officially “dark” I want to wish you enjoy the summer and stay safe in your travels. Remember we will still be doing degree work during the summer to raise all good men and true, so if you’re in town please check the event tab on our website, your attendance is needed and appreciated. For those Past Master’s who were not able to attend the PM’s dinner, I want to say that you missed out on a beautiful brisket and good fellowship, thanks to the WM and JW for hosting.
To our departing WB Ron Watkins, we are saddened by your decision to move to Ecuador but wish you and your bride happiness in your new adventure, knowing you will be missed, but still a large part of Wayfarers.
Remember we are going to shut down the kitchen for the summer, so if you have activities at the lodge you will need to take all left over home.
Keep our brothers that are suffering from illness in your thoughts and prayers.

Brothers and Friends,
I too learned this morning of the passing of dear Worshipful Brother Woody Page. I had something else I was going to write this month but it has become unimportant. While I did not know him well, I had the privilege to interact with him on a few occasions and the only thing I ever received was warmth and love of the lodge. He had a warm smile, a firm greeting, and a deep seated love of Freemasonry that I have yet to see in my short Masonic career. We have a saying in Judaism… May his Memory Be for a Blessing. And it is, brothers and friends, it is. He was a pillar of Wayfarers and will forever be enshrined in the collective memory of our Lodge and I think that he would have loved to know that.
We are dark for the summer. Please keep your eye on the calendar and watch the e-mails each week to see if there are upcoming events.
Yours in the Craft,
Jason Michlowitz
