Message from Brother Brian Brown:
It is with a heavy heart I write you all to let you know of the passing of WB Rodney Aurich.
Pop has been pretty ill the last 5 or so months with multiple hospital visits. He contracted COVID-19 at Christmas time then got viral pneumonia not long after. He went into rehab to hopefully recover from all of that and build back up his strength but he never really got better. He went on a steady decline and hospice services were called in about 3 weeks ago.
My family and I were lucky to be able to go see him under very tight restrictions to say goodbye to him.
I hope you all have fond memories of Pop along with him being his usual pain in the assness.
He was a good man, loved by lots of folks and will be sorely missed by us all.
Please say a prayer/toast/whatever to him passing on since he is no longer struggling and in pain.
- Brian
